First Fatburger experience
I had my first Fatburger experience last week. Having grown up in Houston and upstate New York, Fatburger was a new burger-and-fry option for me.
According to Fatburger’s website, there are three restaurants in Henderson, six in Las Vegas and one in North Las Vegas. That pretty much covers the Las Vegas valley.
Fatburger definitely has a good hamburger stand, but I’m not certain if it’s as they claim — The Last Great Hamburger Stand®.
The fries were great and the lemonade much better than In-N-Out’s lemonade. The burger, however, had a bit too much mustard and no mayo or Miracle Whip. What were they thinking? I’m much more fond of In-N-Out’s special sauce on their burgers.
As for freshness, Fatburger ranks high, certainly better than McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, Wendy’s or Burger King.
Overall it was a good dining experience, but I wouldn’t say it’s my new favorite burger joint.
